Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Team
Working in close collaboration with CEPP colleagues, the SEMH team enhances and complements existing provision to ensure a cohesive, whole-school approach to supporting children and young people (CYP).
Our team works to address a wide spectrum of SEMH needs through a range of targeted and systemic services. These include assessment, planning, intervention, and whole-school development.
Assessment and Planning
We provide a comprehensive approach to understanding and supporting pupils’ SEMH needs through:
- Individual Pupil Assessments
Identifying strengths, challenges, and areas for targeted support.
- Consultation and Planning Meetings
Collaborative discussions with SENDCo, senior leaders, pastoral and teaching staff to plan appropriate support for individual students or inform wider school strategies.
Targeted Interventions
We deliver and monitor a range of evidence-based interventions tailored to individual or group needs:
- One-to-one therapeutic sessions
- Small group interventions
- CBT-informed approaches
- Conflict resolution and restorative practices
- Mindfulness and emotional regulation techniques
- Solution-focused strategies
Whole-School SEMH Support
We can support schools in establishing and embedding a systemic SEMH approach, helping to create environments where all pupils can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
